The company was founded in 1986 from the vision of Roberto Rovere, rooted in traditional metal craftsmanship. In just a few years, the company evolved into an industrial manufacturer specialising in stainless steel, powder-coated steel and aluminium components, combining quality, design and reliability.

Manufactures stainless steel, aluminium and powder-coated steel components for the furniture, contract, marine and engineering sectors.

1986
IPM is founded
Founded by Roberto Rovere, IPM began as a subcontract manufacturer specialising in metalworking and epoxy and polyurethane powder coating, with a strong focus on the furniture and office sectors.
1996
The first machines
IPM embarked on a major modernisation programme, introducing its first sheet metal punching and press brake machines, significantly expanding its production capacity and increasing manufacturing efficiency.
1998
New headquarters
The company relocated to its new facility in Montelabbate, at Via L. Lama 44/1-2. A state-of-the-art coating plant was installed there, further raising standards of quality, efficiency and service continuity.
2000
Laser cutting
The company’s first laser cutting machine, featuring automatic loading and unloading (3000 × 1500 mm format), marked a major step forward in precision and productivity.
2010
Energy transition
A photovoltaic system was installed on the roof of the facility, supporting the company’s journey towards greater energy efficiency and sustainability.
2015
New laser technology
The original laser cutting machine was replaced with a more advanced, higher-performance model featuring a fibre laser source and a 38-position automatic storage system (4000 × 1500 mm format), increasing speed, autonomy and production continuity.
2018
Panel bender
IPM introduced its first panel bender, an extremely precise, high-performance machine for processing thin-gauge panels, further expanding the range of technical solutions available.
2021
Laser sorting system
The machine fleet was expanded with the addition of a new laser cutting machine featuring a dual-tower automatic storage system and sorting system, optimising workflow, lead times and material handling.
2022
Robotic press brake
The company’s first press brake equipped with a collaborative robot (cobot) marked the introduction of collaborative automation into the bending process, improving safety, repeatability and productivity.

Sustainable commitment

Our facilities are equipped with photovoltaic panels that deliver genuine energy efficiency across the entire site. Generating our own electricity enables us to significantly reduce fixed operating costs, helping to stabilise expenditure over the long term.

The clean energy we produce also helps reduce our environmental impact and makes our manufacturing processes more sustainable. An investment that combines efficiency, savings and responsibility.
